This book presents Hassan Sharif (1951–2016), a pioneering conceptual artist and a leading figure in contemporary art in the Gulf region. Best known for sculptural installations made from everyday materials, his practice also encompassed performance, painting, drawing, and weaving, engaging themes such as the critique of mass consumption and industrialization.
