Adam Henein (1929–2020) was one of the most renowned and accomplished Arab artists and a prominent figure in Egypt’s Modernist movement. Celebrated for sculpting bronze, wood, clay, and granite into pure, refined forms, his work occupies a singular place in modern Arab art. This book reveals a more intimate dimension of his production through a previously unpublished selection of charcoal drawings created over the last two decades of his life.
