This slip case brings together two volumes from The Art Library: Discovering Arab Artists, highlighting influential figures in modern and contemporary Arab art.

 

The first is dedicated to Lulwah Alhomoud, whose work merges spirituality, language, and mathematical systems into what she defines as “spiritual art,” exploring the relationship between calligraphy, form, and meaning. The second focuses on Iraqi artist Rafa Nasiri, documenting his career as a painter and printmaker known for abstract works that incorporate Arabic letters, poetry, and calligraphic elements.

 

Together, the set reflects two distinct approaches to abstraction rooted in language, spirituality, and artistic experimentation.
